I don't think hunk aerial scramble will honestly become an event due to the need to rely upon a single vendor to supply the parts/kits needed for the event, which would make it a somewhat difficult event to practice for

Definitely not - the ELG/Wright cycle won't change for a while, at least for B (i'm guessing they're removing heli from B and elg from C but don't quote me on that). Also, although this event was trialed in a few states, being a trial doesn't mean that it's going to become a real event - in fact, a lot of national trials don't become real events - and they're run nationally! The point is, the cycle is unlikely to change (unless you're detector building and yeeting yourself in front of robot arm)
Finally, I just don't think Aerial Scramble is a viable event. Assembling a plane on-site (is that what this is?) is just not plausible for a long-term event (unless you're the inquiry committee and thought putting mystery architecture in B was a good idea).

Probably not. Aerial in WI was a complete mess.

I don't think Aerial Scramble will be in rotation in the near future at least. Regarding the flight events, it seems to me like they're just reversing the rotation order (B -> C instead of C -> B). I can't imagine why, but that seems most likely to me.

In fairness, we kind of knew Robot Arm was at a minimum getting overhauled soon. Cost had been a concern for a long time.

Does the topics for Disease Detectives stay the same from year to year? Where can I find the the tests from the last few years?

There is no topic for Disease Detectives this year, and there likely won't be one next year.

I'm actually pretty sure heli is getting removed for division B. Our state director is the national es for flying events and one of our fliers brought it up to him one time. I can't remember the reasoning off the top of my head, but the gist of it was that is was too hard for a division B event (I think).

That's interesting. I don't see why Heli is any harder than any of the other flight events - in fact I'd probably argue that it's at least easier than Wright Stuff.
