What is catch-22 about?

The main character is this guy, Yossarian, who is in the army during World War II, and basically it just tells about his life in the army, with a whole lot of random sidetangents.

And catch-22 was a provision saying that you could only get sent home if you were legally crazy, but anyone who reported being crazy was obviously sane, because they wanted to go home. Therefore, it was impossible to home.

anyone here read the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series? It is my favorite series, and a movie is being made!! (i hope its good)

Ender's game, even if this was mentioned before

Speaker for the dead was a nice sequel, but the others were a bit confusing

Yep! They're not technically angels, but they did have wings and bird DNA grafted into them. It's kind of far-fetched, but a pretty good books series.

I liked the first few, but the newest one... they've become complete Mary Sues. Every time something bad happens, they just miraculously develop a new power. Plus, I hate it when authors leave a totally pointless cliffhanger just so they can sell a sequel, which is what he did with this one.
