1: He's on often enough to make the frequency of posts the assassinator has
2: He's on right now, so the morning is a time he can get on
3: He'd be a new player
4: He'd be the only new player I could see EAST selecting

Not everything fits perfectly, but that's all that I've got.
I already accused him, it was wrong

I appreciate your consideration in accusing me, but as was revealed when I was accused earlier this round, I am not the assassinator.

Well, I should have checked that. I'm rather caught up in the soccer game. I'll make my final accusation later.

I'll make it now. I accuse paleonaps95 for the same reason.

Congratulations. I am paleonaps95.
I must start by apologizing for such a bad round. I must say that I am too competitive for my own good, and a control freak. If ever chosen again, be sure that I will be a better assassin.
I do realize that I only targeted officers, and I attribute that, also, to my competitive nature.
Clue 1 was explained by quizbowl13, if I remember correctly. A sturgeon is a common explanation for lake monsters, including Nessie. It was targeted at AlphaTauri because that is her alter-ego.
Clue 2 was targeting zyzzyva98. The Gulf of Mexico was a reference to the BP avatar. There was another coordinate pointing to him as well. The one in Baltimore was right over Fort McHenry, the place where the events inspiring "the star-Spangled Banner" took place. of course, the "Star-Spangled Banner" is an American flag, his avatar.
Clue 3 was at fmtiger124. I was not familiar with anagram machines, and did not realize that the anagram would not compute. Sorry about that. The clue was very bad.
Clue 4 was at eta250. The number in the clue was 958800, which, in hexadecimal notation, is EA150. The word meaning 6 and ten were next to each other and in bold. this was to lead you to hexadecimal notation.
Clue 5 was very well explained by eta150. It is a zyzzyva. 'Nuff said.
Clue 6 was obviously at zyzzyva98. The ZYZZYVA is a literary magazine, as well as an insect.
zyzzyva98, PM me your choice for the next assassinator.
Also, I am thinking about trying to get the EOOTA back. Any past assassinators would be invited if it was redone as a differently named group. It could be a quality control device, where assassinators can try clues beforehand, and just refine rules. But it wouldn't be an obligation. You would be free to join, not join, or join and not participate or join and participate.

haha, very good job on that paleonaps, i enjoyed reading everything XD.

Also, might i point out that there are threads that explain why bringing the EOOTA back would be a bad idea.

Wow. I almost committed suicide after I jumped the gun. I'm so glad it's over.

That wasn't a bad round at all, paleonaps. After the third clue, it became clear you were targeting officers only, so next time try mixing it up a bit. You had some good clues, some of them were pretty creative. You'll do fine next time, just don't get too competitive. Remember, we only had two accusations left after this. That's not bad at all.

I have read them. I'm saying that it would be there, but not really be needed. I think that if past assassinators had mentored me, this would have been a better game.

Thank you! That makes me feel better. But anyway, PM me.
Now that I almost won, I can actually target non-officers in my next game.
