For the sake of reviving............
What is Bowen's Reaction Series? What is the continuous branch? What is the discontinuous branch?

Bowen's Reaction Series dictates which minerals form from magma at certain temperatures, and thus, what temperature those minerals are most stable at. The continuous branch shows the shift along the spectrum of sodium-rich plagioclase at high temperatures to calcium-rich plagioclase at lower temperatures. The discontinuous branch is made up specific minerals that are present as magma reaches certain temperatures. As magma continues cooling, a mineral reacts with the remaining magma to form the next in the series. The discontinuous branch is made up of olivine (high temps), pyroxene, amphibole, biotite, orthoclase, muscovite, and quartz (lower temps).

Azurite and Malachite, they are both carbonates and ores of copper

Correct on the ID's. Nearly there with the second part but there's a relationship you're missing.

When azurite weathers, it is replaced by malachite. (pseudomorph)

Sofossils can have the next question if this is acceptable
