what kind of wave was used to take some picture?
any thoughts
No, i think i know what this is. They show you a picture and ask you what waves were used to take the picture. the picture has a special name, i don't remember. It's in the back of an old Earth Science Textbook i found.

So how do you do that? Are you just looking at the colors in the picture?

We had some stupid refraction experiment. There were instructions on how to do it but we could tell that everyone (including us) were clueless.

We had a bunch of "audiovisual activities" at States- they weren't labs as such, since we didn't actually do anything, but they had this little beeper thing that they sent on a string across the room and we had to say what wave phenomenon it demonstrated (Doppler effect), and they had some setup that could generate standing waves, and we had to say what harmonic it was in.

Does anyone have any type of idea of what will be on the test at Nationals?

We had that, and then we had an experiment with diffraction grating of a laser beam. It was horrible! We completely failed. I'm so happy this isn't an event next year...

Me too. It's just sometimes the tests sometimes are too hard.
