A 32 is really good! Agreed, I thought the first place tower would be somewhere in the high 30s to 40s, but a 32 is still awesome.

Good job to Athens for breaking into the top 3 this year. :)

I'm wondering why they didn't announce the top 10 this year. For me, I like seeing who got in the top 10 right away, and they get more recognition for it. It's not like it's more difficult to just recognize them. Any theories as to why this didn't happen?

I don't know for sure, but I remember the announcer mentioning that it took longer than usual (he was trying to stall while they were grading SoM, I think), so I guess they just decided to announce the teams that would be getting trophies. They had the top ten with them though, because the Jr high coach went up to find out their placing.

The towers at states were pretty amazing. I heard the winning one was 7g and held all the weight.
Yeah, that was my school. (whitehall-coplay) it weighed 7.5g. and its still in one piece. its the exact same tower that won at our regional conmpetition. it wasnt broken, so they decided to use it again. its still in one piece.

ive gotta say sry cuz our c team held up the SoM results. they filed an appeal because the judge said that they were tuned wrong because he was using the wrong program to tune. he used a program which in the rules it says that this program will not be used on bells because it tunes them wrong. for some reason it comes up wrong on the machine. they went over again with it, and the judges still didnt change anything about it. he still didnt move them up in points at all.

Whoa, SE dominance...again. Even more than last year, I think. No Top 10 for my team, though. :(

Congrats again to Harriton, Penncrest, Strath Haven, and Shady Side (and Athens for being that close to toppling Penncrest)!
