i think it is parts wear, because i experienced similar occurences
with my robot, it used to feel extremely sharp and responsive, but after almost 1000 runs, it feels less responsive than it used to
it could just be me, but if you are experiencing it as well, it must be wear of some sort
my robot, being a scooper, runs into walls and other things a lot. this can cause metal fatigue (our scoop bends into a curve regularly) as well as motor/clutch wear.(my bot weighs around 18 pounds, which puts a lot of stress on the parts) For example, we change clutches out a lot, because getting that weight moving from a complete stop makes them click and break every once in a while. it could be anything, but vex isnt super-heavy-duty equipment, so it is bound to get beat up and worn down a little eventually.

That'd be great ! :o Thank you!
No problem. I'm on break right now so you'd have to wait until next week because my coach has the list. My coach works at the middle school so i'd have to find time to go down there and ask him. *thinks* I could IM him.. but that would be awkward. I'll get it as soon as i can.

If this has been answered somewhere else I apologize . . . but I had a question concerning voltage.

The rules state that student build controllers cannot be more than 9.6 volts. Does that mean commercial controllers can be more than 9.6? None of my students motors or servos run on voltage greater than 9.6, but the remote control unit used to control the servos runs on 12 volts. Would this be illegal?

do you think that is worth the time? its not for me because i have at least 20 , all of which are crammed into places that would take 1/2 hour each.
i dont think it is that big of a deal
and im not guaranteeing that that is the problem, so if that ends up being a waste of time, dont blame me if it doesnt help :D :D :D :D
