I've seen this type of discussion reading back, and, I suppose, I don't really 'get it'. Why does it matter if the Assassinator games continue? If the community demands more games, then it would make sense for them to continue. If it doesn't, then they don't. Just ending them for the sake of it seems silly.

...that said, whether there's demand for the game right now is up for debate. It's hard to tell when they move slowly if folks would be posting IF there were clues to solve. It's worth noting the next Who Am I? game has not started, so it's not exclusively this game.

Here's what I feel about these games right now: let it go. Frankly, it's been dying a slow, painful death for years. Interest has peaked and waned, and we're just it alive for nostalgia. Yes, it was fun. Yes, it was a fun tradition. It's just...nobody cares anymore. The fad is gone. There is simply not enough cooperating people with enough dedication to do this anymore. Sad to hear, I admit. But true. I'm not proposing a forced end, but if it keeps on this way, the second mafia reborn will just be a lost effort in time. Yes, whatever the community chooses goes.

How about a vote/poll, to truly decide on something?

I feel that if there was just one sassy, instead of many, we would be more motivated to solve the clues.
I also feel that sassy games are not dead yet. Even though I have not participated in this game, I truly would feel bad killing of sassy games. If we are to continue the games, I believe they should be faster-paced.
And yes, we should have a vote/poll. Maybe terminating this mid-game and starting a new one would be a good idea.

I think starting a new one with easier clues would be best, if the current sassy(s) is ok with that.

From the way they talk they wouldn't be ok with it(look at easts post) which is why I recommended restarting. Of course if they were ok with it then it's perfect. I think we should take a vote and decide where to go from there. I for one would like to see them continue.

I have no comment on the long term future of the games, however, I believe it's important to note that the game is currently dead because the Assassinator isn't participating, not necessarily the officers. The officers have already made two protects, out of three possible (I think), while the Assassinator hasn't made a post in over two weeks.

Instead of ignoring this, we should do something about it.

I do appologize, I have not been the most observant killer as of late.
Due to this I will give myself up to the one who is worthy, and they may decide the fate of the games.

Simply find who I am and send a PM to me. Then you will gain control of the account, and determine the fate.

Similar to winter savory I am, a letter off I may be.

Give us a chance. Remember game 90? That was fun, and there were a lot of new people. I don't like the idea of dumbing the game down because we aren't as good as other players. A variety of clues easy and hard makes it fun for all, and getting a few clues wrong here and there is normal. No one likes to have these discussions, so let's just focus on having fun, win or lose.
