Crazy midwesterner taking the ACT Saturday here, and I didn't even know it until today. Wait, is there an ACT thread?

Talent searches. Practice. $40 isn't that much when you consider the head start it gives you on a very important test.

[I also personally profited $1460 from the NUMATS scholarship money]

They've just kind of merged together on here. Good luck!

Why would you choose ACT over SAT? I've never understood any of the logic behind that.

ACT has a science portion. And no vocab. Thats why I prefer it.

I have taken both, and found that I have done much, much better on the ACT compared to the SAT. It's better to have results from both tests when you apply too.

IMHO, ACT was much easier. But that's just me. Why not take it for yourself? You're the only one who can accurately judge that.

Do you know how you did?
I think I'll take both at some point- or is there a law against that?

Ofcourse not. I'm almost 110% sure you can take both in the same year. Just so you know, there is the "ACT" and the "ACT plus Writing". I took the ACT last year as an eight grader, but plan on taking the ACT plus Writing too.
