As someone who has communicated regularly with robotman since then, I can confirm that it has not.Unome wrote:Painful Plateaus was over eight years ago, when robotman was in 8th grade. Nope. I'm pretty sure the three words are heart, spell, and death, as they were all bolded and there was only three of them. Only question is, what do they mean?

Well, maybe you should try searching them.

Are you trying to get caught?Fibonacci924 wrote:Well, maybe you should try searching them.
Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath are a trilogy from which you have a quote in your signature. I'm going to see if anyone else mentioned the books. In the meantime, who doesn't have a black mark, and do you think we should accuse?
EDIT: Recently, only Karp has mentioned them, and I'm pretty sure they're a guy, so as soon as someone agrees with me I'll accuse.

Ink, spell, death are the words used to destroy a certain book for immortality in the Inkspell series. Due to his signature, I think Fib would be a likely candidate.dragon_fruit35 wrote:Are you trying to get caught?Fibonacci924 wrote:Well, maybe you should try searching them.

I think you should accuse. I've actually been suspecting fibonacci for quite some time now. I see fibonacci on the IRC a lot, too.So, should I accuse?

Re: SciOly Assassination 108: At the World's Fair
Okay. Here goes nothing...JasperKota wrote:I think you should accuse. I've actually been suspecting fibonacci for quite some time now. I see fibonacci on the IRC a lot, too.So should I accuse?
I accuse Fibonacci924 of being the Assassinator because the ID clue ("heart, spell, death") leads to the Inkheart trilogy, and Fibonacci has a quite from Inkspell in their username. Also, they solved their own kill clue, and it was in a way that would be hard for other people to solve. Plus, since Fibonacci was an actual person, we could mistake Fib for them (not great, I tried). And we don't know that they're not a girl, so that part still fits (sorry Fib, you kinda seem like a girl to me.) Also, they are very active on IRC, and many clues have related to chat.
The only fishy thing is that Fib literally said they didn't like Assassination 108... oh well, I don't see what else the ID clue could point to.
