How many medals do you have?

and I know I think we should, but we just pay our own way to everything.. We pay maybe $75 at the beginning for competition fees and tshirts. Then at competition we all order like a pizza or something and share the cost. We don't do buses to states. And we all pay our own hotel rooms for states.. Everyone brings their whole family instead of just kids and coaches.. Idk how, but it works for us.

I personally don't either, but somehow everyone manages to paay it all.. I guess it comes with going to a Catholic school.. The coaches figure that if you can afford to attend the school, you can afford your own food and room. It works for us.

That second part of that comment's not really necessary. That's a large accomplishment regardless of the state competed in.

yes but getting a medal in one state can be a lot harder than getting a medal in a differnt one.

Division B
2007 regionals- 2nd place Crave the WAve

2008 regionals- 1st place crave the wave
- 2nd place Tower building
- 3rd place Balloon Launched Glider
2008 states- 1 place Balloon Launched glider (one of my prizes possesion, my only state medal, and it's a gold, and it's huge!)

Divison C
2009 regionals- 3rd place Elevated Bridge
- 4rth place Dynamic Planet

qasedrftgyhujikopl OMG NATS?!?!? u are sososososo lucky, ur school must dominate in some state!! We dominate at regionals, but that is where our success ends.. I would trade anything to get to nats just once, but that will never happen.. I've been to states 2 times and we;ve never gotten higher than 25th =[ this year is my last, because my school doesnt take 9th graders for its B division team.. lots of high schools in my area have teams, and no one high school is affiliated with my current school, so we just dont have 9th graders.. i hate it.

and wow 30 medals you must be crazyy good! I've never even been to an invitational either.. There are none in the WNY area because we are essentially the richest school in the region, and we could never afford it because we're a catholic school with ZERO support from administration =[

we've been the smallest school at nats for the past two years, and i think we will be again. we're catholic too, and you have no idea how many bake sales, car washes, begging, etc. we had to do in order to go both years. as for me being crazy good, ive had some pretty amazing partners in all of my events!
