I was walking down the street, just minding my own business when I saw my next target. Or my target saw me. I don't really know. He or she (I couldn't really tell. How about it?) was following me in a long trench coat, with a huge hat on. Reminded me of Carmen Sandiego actually. Without the long flowing red hair. Actually, that long red hair could be in a bun under that hat for all that I knew. But it was following me. It had been following me for two days. It was a pest. And it needed to die.

Oh well. Not much you can do when someone wants to kill you, eh? I have found my target. And it will die.

This is targeting z. A zyzzyva is a red beetle (pest). It is the last word of a dictionary and the first and last person to get targeted this game. Both refering to the first will be last thing.

I protect zyzzyva for the reasons littleboy has stated.

I'm starting to suspect paleonaps, as littleboy has brought to my attention. Richard can refer to Rick, or Rick Astley, who naps impersonated for Halloween. "Moosic" sounds like music, which is associated with Astley. Also, "naps" is similar to "Napoleon". He's not a grad, but he is active on chat. Any other connections, to him or others?

I walked calmly through the sea of protesters and got into my car. Shame the world was going to end soon--or at least that's what these people thought.
As I entered my apartment, I was contemplating my life. Had I been too daring? It was definitely a whale of a time--or was that the right expression?

As I got into bed, I turned on some REM and had a weird dream about Abraham and his sons. Ick.
It wasn't before long that the current world structure starting impacting my dreams. End of the world, and all that jazz. I thought of what people in the future would think of us. Or of me perhaps.

Self-reflection always ends in nightmares.

I prepared for the kill. I envisioned the target. And it was morning.
