Aurorealise wrote:hey its alright, we all understand. it is somewhat more difficult to balance olympiad with coursework, electives, and college prep in high school, especially at Seven Lakes, so don't be surprised if people quit. but there are many great people on the seven lakes team as well and i'm sure everyone will get along pretty nicelysrsvball95 wrote:Although I don't know how many of Beckendorff kids are going to do Seven Lakes scioly next year. We're going to be losing a lot of people to Band and a lot of them think it's going to be too much to handle on top of high school stuff. Personally, it would be great if we could get most of our kids from this year to come back to Seven Lakes since 75% of our two teams are 8 and 9 graders. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens and since scioly may not happen next year, we're going all out this year
but go for the gold while you guys still can! the team back at beckendorff has the most resources its ever had. make some good use of it you guys
What she said. Also, we're full and I hate kicking people off the team. It stinks. I'm not sure which BDJH kid you are, but I've told this to their A team Fish: I don't care if you join or not. Join, don't join. Doesn't make a difference to me. I would love to have some of you guys here, but if you feel like its too much, I understand 100%. But, trust me kids. You will be okay. Its all up to you.
Anyways, I love BDJH and the team there! I have so many good memories from Division B and I'd love to see my former team earn that big shiny (okay, not so big, but its shiny) 1st place trophy. So go for it BDJH! Its about TIME (haha. Get it?) you guys shoot for that first place trophy and I'm sure it'd make your coach very, very, proud.
Go WoodCreek. I like you too. But you can have 2nd
@Smarticle: You're awesome. Cookies for you! (When I bake for state that is.)

Re: Texas 2010
Wow, y'all are so supportive, it makes me so ecstatic to know that there's a team out there who wants us to win so bad! Thank you so much to SLHS and all others who have said such nice things about Beckendorff. Starting now, our team is under even more stress and we're all so nervous and anxious that any support we can receive is greatly appreciated! It really makes a big difference to have many people, and not just our coach and parents, rooting us on and I just wanted to thank everyone on behalf of the entire Beckendorff team!!
8th at Nationals......In our 1st year.........finally, our chance to shine

SHHH, keep it on the down low. No one is supposed to know (except the officers: AKA Half the team). Don't let the cat out of the bag! I want to surprise everyone at our next meeting! But yes, SLHS will be at state be it thunder or lightning, storm or rain, we'll get our butts to College Station even if it kills us.

I play piano. Which is the best. I wish we have Sound of Music, that event sounds SO epic. Does anyone know when we'll get it back? (if ever?)
