Errr...are you sure you mean 1.4? Since that's shorter than the height of a lot of people... I myself am 1.7 meters tall. I don't think a 1.4 meter ceiling would be usable.

Oh yeah my bad was more around 1.8-1.9, I just launched it above a table.

The helicopter times at berkeley competition were around two minutes.

Yes winning time at Berkeley was 2 min and 28 seconds, by Seven Lakes High School.

so I saw a flight at an Ohio invitational that was almost 4 minutes.. what do y'all think

Depends. How high was the ceiling? And did the helicopter get stuck at any point?

If the ceiling was very high, then approaching 4 minutes is quite easy, just requires fine tuning that I never do.

If the helicopter got stuck at any one point, then throw it out, its a farce.

Agreed. I think it's safe to say that if it got this time not on an insane ceiling (17-20+ m) then it probably just got stuck.

I think someone mentioned this before on the other Helicopter subsection. Something about it being 230 seconds

If it gets 4 mins then someone must have a lot of money in infrastructure... or event supervisors didn't read the rules enough.
