Any reason NJ runs 12 events with 2 of them being trial? That's so weird

NJ's always run their regionals fairly short of events (probably due to event supervisor issues, I suspect). As for the lot of trial events, I have no idea. Must be a quirk of NJSO, I guess!

My guess is that they run trials whenever they find someone willing to run a specific event, since otherwise every regional would be 10 events or less (since iirc Camden runs 8 with 1 trial?)

That top 4 spread in Div C is pretty brutal; 3 points, and a tie for first.

quick question... is it possible to receive copy of the scores or scoring sheets for the regionals?

Raw Scores: Some tournaments release them, some don't. In some cases individual event supervisors may release them. I don't know whether NJ regionals release them though.

I think in general NJ does not release scores at least website. However, you might be able to ask about the scores by emailing the relevant person (that's what I'm doing right now)
