I don't remember all of the Division B results from Allendale, but I believe Slauson MS got first and Meads Mill MS got second, if I recall correctly.

It's too bad when solid teams like Huron usually miss out on state because of tough regional dynamics, even though they could possibly place in the top third. I understand how hard they're working. I'm actually happy that 60 teams are going to state this year. A lot of talent is left at the regional level, at least in Division C.

For sure. I'm in Region 12 (Forest Hills Central, West Ottawa, Grand Haven, Allendale, Grand Rapids Christian, Plymouth Christian, and Grandville) which must be one of the toughest in the state. Only 6 have advanced to states in the past. Last year, the lowest placing team from our region at States was Allendale in 15th place.
