3. The water tables is assumed to be a perfect plane. The triple point use of hte challenge gives one line of equal elevation and flow direction and is not universal with the whole area. It also assumes gradient is constant but its only the average slope between two points. The gradient isnt constant between two wells and changes based on the elevation of surroudning area and whether pumping exists(cone of depression)
