My team always has bets with the teachers like "If we place in the top 5 at Nationals, you have to get a mohawk and die it magenta. If we're in the top THREE, you have to go on the loudspeaker in the morning and say 'Rocks and minerals are boring!'"

Last year we were flying to DC for nats. We saw one of the airplane attendents who had a really really weird haircut. Shaved to a point in the back and sort of a mohawk. I turned to my coach and bet him that if i came top 5 in the nation at wright stuff that hed have to shave his head like that. i would do pretty much anything, including standing in our sweaty school mascot (bulldog) suit for hours on end at States just to keep team spirit up and stress down (hopefully resulting in a WIN)
