Are you sure it's legal? At our Regionals, they don't let people do that.

no its not...at least i'm pretty sure its not, i don't think you can have a person on two different teams at the same competition...at least its not allowed heresihT etupmoC wrote:Someone got sick the day before and couldnt go, and there were on the B team, so someone needed to take his spot. I was open the time slots he had, so my coach put me on that team doing two events, while I was on A team doing two events. Hey, as long as each time has 15 people, it's totally legal to do that

If it's the same school, and both teams have 15 people no more, than it's legal. Is a kid, teenager, whatever really going to argue against my coach?

I believe it's in the coaches handbook, that is illegal. Your teams should have been DQ'drocketman1555 wrote:no its not...at least i'm pretty sure its not, i don't think you can have a person on two different teams at the same competition...at least its not allowed heresihT etupmoC wrote:Someone got sick the day before and couldnt go, and there were on the B team, so someone needed to take his spot. No, it's legal. I can even email a national official if I have to.
Hm..lets see..California, Ohio. Totally different states with totally different rules.
Serious?

Re: Is this allowed?...(important)
You weren't on the official team list for the B team (which would have been submitted long before the person got sick) so you shouldn't have been allowed to compete for that team. Unless you guys don't have to submit official team lists, it isn't legal.sihT etupmoC wrote:If it's the same school, and both teams have 15 people no more, than it's legal.
