Wait, what? I got it wrong?

Is anyone extremely shocked and angered that the event supervisor took our lab notebooks away at Nats? How can we get them back? That's basically like impounding your air trajectory and not getting it back, or handing the event supervisor your only reference sheet as you leave!

Been scouring the forums 4 a post about this issue and finally found one.

Yeah funny how i used almost the same analogy. Wind power is similar to FS in that both have an impound and written portion. Wind power gets theirs back(ik that 4 sure bc my suitcase on the way back had to be squished into a corner so the turbine wouldnt be smashed) SO WHY DONT WE??

Did your coach email the tournament director? You may have a case, but I hope that you have copies of each lab somewhere.

Anyways, there may be a rules change next year that renders the notebook useless- I heard the committee was reverting to baking.
