We have a chess team... there was a big upset this year, they lost for the first time in like 3 years... and i didnt even know about the streak until the day after they lost. Im not that in to chess. Im in quiz bowl though, thats entertaining.

we have a chess club at the middle school but not a chess team. I think it's kinda ridiculous though to pay $73 to play chess after school for an hour with your friends for 5 weeks. You can do that at the library for free!!

Pay $73? And the team is at the high school. At the middle school we have a club.

Same story around here, except it wasn't our school, unfortunately. A school near us has only lost once in the past 8 years, and they've won the conference every year since we broke off from a different conference.

EDIT- BTW, we finished 10-4. Should have been better, but it's still a good record.

Yeah. We have an informal chess team during lunch. No compititions or anything though. People just show up and play.

Band (clarinet is awesome!), I swim...sort of. SO and school and...yeah mostly SO keeps me so busy that I don't have time to go much. I go every day during the summer though!

w00t baseball starts on tuesday but i miss the first pratice which is kinda depressing but anyway i now have a school sport that i am doing so i get almost no time to my self to do anything fun.
i just hope i get to play this year cause last year i was ineligable all year and got to go to the very last game and one of the ineligabe kids for that game tried to get out of class and go to the game but was told to get his ass back to class which was awesome.
I find it funny the middle school Algebra1 teacher is a baseball coach and the high school Algebra teacher is going to be my coach. Our hats are awesom this year i just need to take good care of mine which means no big ass blood stains on the hat this year. man that was some good times

Our middle school track team lost their first meet in 7 years last year. I was on the team.

I do Math Counts, National History Day, scioly (of course), hockey, and track. There might be more, but that's all I can think of.

I did history day one year! Well kinda.. We were going to do a play on Thomas Paine but then one of my partner's dad died and the funeral was on the same day so we didn't present. But I thought it was a lot of work for an essay or science fair board on a subject, but then again thats just me.
