My coach told me that Libertyville managed to land top 5 in their first year of SO...is that right?

Btw, for those going to Palatine, do you know how they're dividing up the schools into Division A and AA? Does anyone know which division we would be in? (we have ~1600 students)

Actually, libertyville did not get into the top 5 (they placed 7th). On the other hand Hinsdale Central placed 4th.

Also, I believe this top five was from the A division. Speaking of A vs AA, I do not believe they are dividing teams into A and AA at this invite, just JV and V.

When did Libertyville make their first state appearance? 2012?

Also, from the website for the Palatine invite:

http://www.phs.d211.org/science/cgarris ... ration.htm

Teams will be sorted into a Division A/Division AA format and medals will be awarded for places 1 through 4 in each division.

So how do they sort the teams? What's the minimum size to be in Division A? (or whichever is the larger division)?

I read an article once about Libertyville. I feel like they made sate and did place in top 5 (idk if A or AA) their first year.

Waubonsie (us) had to compete in AA in our first year at state :/

nomynameisnotkevin, is there an Asian guy on your team who competes in GeoLogic, Dynamic, Astro, and Disease? I saw him in Dynamic, Astro, and Disease, and I saw him go up when he medaled in GeoLogic.

Or is this guy you?

If not, what events did you compete in? My fourth event was Anatomy...maybe we saw each other in one of those events?
