I know. In the comics, a fight occurred on an imaginary island in the general location of Indonesia, and one of the involved characters was names Komodo; thus, there would have other charaters working with komodo in Indonesia, potentially working against HYDRA. However, as I am not exactly "up" on my comic book info, I have not yet been able to connect this to anyone. Obviously, this is pretty far out there, and could be completely wrong.

I believe that the main comic that people on scioly really follow is xkcd. Although that doesn't really narrow the options too much, is there one person who extremely likes xkcd?

Well when I'm bored my friend hits random in the XKCD app and reads me the title and first line of a comic and I finish, from memory, the rest of the comic and describe the artwork, but no one here knows that...

My idea about the Marvel comics doesn't have anything to do with xkcd...If my lead points to a person here, it will be from a reference in the Marvel comic storyline that I am talking about...at this point, though, I doubt I am right about this lead.

AlphaTauri, Kokonilly, RandomPerson, and syo_astro all are avid fans of xkcd. It's more likely Alpha or Koko, though. But from the rest of the clue, I'd say it's more likely to be Koko, for reasons I can't be bothered to type out right now.

I am both flattered and facepalming at myself.

I protect Littleboy, because the capitalized words of the clue point to various aspects of various chess engines, which of course would point to Littleboy. I am fairly certain of this one.
