We are playing Moves Like Jagger as part of our next marching band show. Boom. Decimated.

Re: Music!
Hey Baby is a really popular song for marching and pep bands. We play it after pep assemblies and football games.

Re: Music!
We play Hey Baby after the third quarter (we have that off to go eat...) and also at pep rallies. Our marching band's field show is West Side Story, which actually works contrary to what I thought about that.
Last year our show was all about space, so it was mainly Holst's The Planets but there was also Fly Me to The Moon (I love Frank Sinatra that's who I missed
) and Star Trek in our field show.
And the year before that was The Beatles!
We also added Apache as a stands tune this year (Jump On It, in other words.)

TOBYMAC! His new album is the best so far.Cedavis6 wrote:Do you listen to Tobymac? Or Jars of Clay?rkoopma2 wrote:I listen to a lot of contemporary christian music. I really like Sidewalk Prophets (Live Like That is awesome), Chris Tomlin (Our God, White Flag, and I Will Follow), Third Day, Casting Crowns (Jesus, Friend of Sinners), and Tenth Avenue North.
I love City on Our Knees by Tobymac and Revolution by Jars of Clay.
I also love classical. In my youth orchestra we're playing Tchiak 4, So amazing.

Re: Music!
If I get a chance tonight, I will post the video I want unless you already posted it before me which I will check for...
And I found that my band room computer has all our stand tunes, and the choir concert, from my freshman year on Itunes today during lunch!

Re: Music!
My goodness, "Hey, Baby!" has got to be one of my favorite songs ever.49ers wrote:I have a very wide taste, and I basically enjoy all music in some form ...marching band stands tunes like "Hey, Baby!" ...
I also enjoy The All-American Rejects, The Fray, OneRepublic, The Script, Hot Chelle Rae, San Cisco, and various others that I'll have to think about. Oh, and fun.
I also like to play classical music. So, Bach, Tchaikovsky, and the like.
