I think a lot of us are in the same boat as you are :D and I'm guessing that even some of those who know they will go don't really care where it is as long as they get to go.

Our state competition was at Augusta. I dont remember too much to do around the campus, but the campus itself was fairly nice. Every event was only a close walk away...unlike DC where i had to walk 7 blocks in the pouring rain to my next event :(

PA states are at Juniata and it is in the middle of no where but the state competition at least is held very well.

Juniata does hold very high quality competitions. I had no complaints about that nationals, and I had fun despite the lack of things to do. I call it the 2nd best nationals, behind only this years GWU

You have to admit that each team having an element in a huge periodic table WAS a pretty creative idea. Yttrium!
GWU will still always be the best, however. I mean, they had the GWUSO logo on the elevators.

I'm going to nationals this year regardless of anything....and i'm not even in olympiad anymore. lol. but ill be spectating the building events. For one i only live an hour away from augusta. Second, i'm helping coach my previous school's team. Third, Olympiad rocks! haha.

man, I wish they had nats somewhere in CA.. then I would check it out!

My thought is if we ever get to the nats i wouldnt care where it is id just be really proud :)
