I guess the school buses in my area are the only ones that shake like they are about to explode, then.

Our buses shake a bit, but certainly not that badly. We took a bus to Boyceville; I assume we would be taking either a bus or vans to Madison if we go.

We're first in line to go if a team from a different state backs out. We're holding out hope.

No, they aren't. We made the mistake of putting building stuff in the back because it would be easier to load, and it really shook stuff up. I don't think schoolbuses have any shocks whatsoever, they shake so much.

I had to ride one for two hours once.
I think I got a concussion.

...How bad can your buses possibly be? The trip to Boyceville was 5 hours and I lived.

EDIT: It was actually about 2-3 hours. Typos are bad when it comes to numbers...

You guys have to ride school buses? Our team ALWAYS gets a chater bus, whether it be 2 hours away or 10 hours away(I hope we take a charter bus if it's that far). Then some parents drive in vans to bring the building event things.

When we went to Boyceville, we took a normal school bus. When we go to Madison, we're taking coach. I think it's because the school pays some of the expenses for a trip to nationals, but not a trip to an invitational.

It's really all based on funding really.
