Just came back from OC Regionals!!!! Results:
1.) Pioneer
2.) Rancho San Joaquin
3.) ???? I totally forgot!!! (Sorry!)
4.) UTT (Don't know what it stands for....)
5.) Cerro Villa (ME!!!!!)
6.) ?
Sorry, I'm not that great with remembering the results, and I didn't even get the official scoring sheet thingy back.... so.... they only announced 1 - 4 and I only know 5 because my teacher asked after the ceremony.... I'm so excited for State!

Anyone have results for OC or IE regionals? I don't think these get posted anywhere.

Well, I posted the results of OC Division B Regionals up above... but I'm pretty sure that Troy High School won 1st place for Div. C, because they ALWAYS get 1st..... (Geez, they're like Muscatel....) I'll have to keep on looking for IE and OC results though, and I'll post them up when I find more info on them. What makes it so hard to look for the results is the fact that (I don't think) OC and IE have their own Regional websites....
EDIT: I found an article online discussing the results of OC Div. C
1.) Troy High School (I told you.....)
2.) Irvine High School
3.) Northwood High School
4.) University High School
Overall, the results aren't really that surprising to me.

So basically the same 4 high schools in the OC regionals that have been coming to states for the past 5-10 years are still going to states.
Big surprise there.

Great. I just found a prelimanary(sp.?) schedule for SoCal State competition, and AGAIN.... Anatomy is during the SAME EXACT TIME as Science Crime Busters! This totally sucks! Does anybody here know WHY they do this to me? I get that some events are grouped together so that they aren't at the same time (for example: Disease Detectives and Anatomy), but why is Anatomy and Crime Busters always during the same time slot?

There is always going to be some event conflict of some sort.

Guess what? I have full results for the OC Regionals!!! (It's an image, and I am not very tech advanced, so I have yet to find a way to post it up here. Can somebody PM me how to? Thanks....)
For now, the basic rankings (keep in mind that some of the results I posted before were incorrect because of all the excitement and anticipation and stuff I was feeling from after the competition):
1.) Pioneer MS
2.) Rancho San Joaquin MS
3.) UTT MS (but they appear as Utt, so maybe that's just their school name)
4.) Beechwod School
5.) Cerro Villa MS
6.) Kraemer MS
7.) Ladera Vista Jr. High
8.) Sierra Vista MS
9.) Ladera Ranch MS AND Santiago Charter MS (tie)
11.) El Rancho Charter MS
12.) Oak Middle School
13.) Marco Forster MS
14.) Thurston MS
15.) Vinyard Christian School
Apparently, they also changed it this year so that only the top 5 teams from OC could move onto State, so I'm relieved.... I'm on the borderline! (Probably because there were only 15 schools competing and they probably wanted to give more spots to larger regionals, like LA, where there's a lot more competition.)
