You can't, without knowing the field number of that specific ocular lens. It's a bad question. On a real event, presumably they would give you an image of a ruler (either at that magnification or another) and you could calculate from there. If they decided to go complicated on you, they could give you the field number of the ocular and the magnification of the objective, in which case you divide the former by the latter.

yeah, this event is very heavy on microscopy...
if you know nothing on microbiology, check out the Dummy books. :)
No matter what the experiment's result, there will always be someone eager to:(a) misinterpret it(b) fake it, or (c) believe it supports his own pet theory.

How much would you think we would have to know about the parts of a cell.
Also what is microbial origin?

Okay, so is this like Cell Bio [division C] from last year but with other microbes (fungi, etc)? Because that is what I've gathered.

There is a list of organisms on SOINC that you need to know. including the diseases they cause.

I only see the Microbial Diseases list...??
And what about those diseases do we have to know?
