JMD and Reed seriously, I suggest you both look on the websites that the OFFICIAL website gives you, it really comes in handy. Also when planning your notesheet you really have to think about what pictures(if you do put them on). I mean at States when they asked for the Nitrogen Cycle we had the SAME EXACT diagram that was on the test! All we did was fill in the blanks, took a second. Also you're gonna want to familiarize yourself with tests from previous years. I mean at States they asked us what NIMBY meant and I was like WTF? Learn the format!

I've actually been using those sites to make some basic note sheets (for studying not for using at the events) and have been studying them, though I've never thought about pictures until now.

I suggest pictures of the most common cycles. And a world map that shows what areas are what biomes.... those are the basics.

I also had the same diagram they used on the test. My partner had been arguing with me as to which one we would include on the notes sheet, and when he saw the question he just said "...[paleonaps], good choice".
I suggest the nitrogen, dihydrogen monoxide, carbon, and phosphorus cycles.

You mean water? The statement itself is actually incorrect because nomenclature labels beyond the single units are not used for hydrogen, so it would just be "hydrogen monoxide"

Yes yes that's what I meant. I was A: trying to make water sound more scientific and B: That was a science fair project about psychology. Some kid played up water, calling it dihydrogen monoxide, and made it sound like a toxin. Over 50% of the people who saw his project wanted it banned.

JMD, but make sure you NEVER rely on your note-sheet, you should already know the cycles by heart and all of that.

P.S. - Another good note-sheet add-on is a small summary of the main animals in the biomes. (I.E. the most common, or endangered)

I never memorize my notes sheet. I just put on stuff I don't want to memorize.

Just basic diagrams for the cycles, and a food web for each biome, plus some stats and figures.
