i was just wondering if there was any way an electromechanical relay could help a battery buggy, because it is allowed.

Well, let's say you motor consumes a large amount of power, and you don't want that high current to pass through your tiny switch. Well, if you can find a kit that meets all the requirements, then you could use it if you modified it. But it's more likely that you'd rather take parts from a kit and put them into your own creation, which is legal as long as you continue to meet the voltage and size requirements.

uh, well.
As long as it doesn't contain robotic parts I believe it would be considered OK.
We used VEX parts (which is for robots), but we didn't use the robotic components and we were OK.
oh and please use the edit key if you need to edit your post, it reduces spam which is a good thing
