Picture This. Our team has switched around like crazy for it. It's less "Who wants to do this?" and more "Who the heck has a free time slot for this hour?".

I'm surprised that some people don't like Disease Detectives, Anatomy, and Ecology.
Those seem to be really popular.
For us, it seems like some of the lab events, like Experimental Design and Write It/Do It that aren't as emphasized. Finding people for study events doesn't seem like such a big problem.
We like to procrastinate a lot on building events, though.

^Same here, except replace Picture This with Pentathlon. Basically, it's like this:
Coach: "Who's got an open event slot at 9?"
*4 people raise their hands*
Coach: "You four are the Pentathlon team."
Person 1: "But I gotta help [teammate] with the Wright Stuff plane."
Coach: "Fine. Who has an open event slot at 10?"
*3 people raise their hands*
Coach: "What about 11?"
*5 people raise their hands*
Coach: "Alright, you four there are the Pentathlon team. And you go help [team member] with the Trajectory."

Wtf...
Why is everybody like "I got stuck in RS alone and got _____ at regionals"
Ffs, I spent hours studying for that event and got

Some regions have strong teams. In comparison, we're the "strongest" team in Road Scholar in our region, yet we still did pretty bad on the test. The same thing happened with Shock Value. However, we also have strong teams in Anatomy, Bio-Process, etc, and they don't do as well. It's not how well you do, it's how well you compare. The best way to compare well, however, is to do well.

I was on that event from the beginning and I also spent hours preparing for it. My 5 pages were a thing of beauty.

Just no one else wanted to do it. Sorry, I was a little vague.
