I believe that is a reference to the musical Hamilton, from the track Cabinet Battle #2.

....I don't think it's Morse code.
A letter of Morse code can be anywhere from 1 to 4 characters long. Problem is, with such a long string there are so many possible combinations that it's extremely difficult to find the right one.

...What if it's a Baconian disguised as Morse code? Nope, still has the extra dot at the end.

in game 145 one of the clues was morse code disguised as binary (0 was . 1 was - or something like that)
reversed that (morse to binary) and got

Cabinet Battle 2 was about the French Revolution, so some key names to look for include Washington, Hamilton, Jefferson, and Lafayette. Keep an eye out for someone with a connection to France.
