to the best of my knowledge i believe all of them were run...and all of the other scores from the invitational looked normal so i'm guessing all of the events were indeed run...scary to think another top 5 team was there and provided very little to challenge the defending champs.

That's crazy. It's almost scary to think of there being a team THAT dominant. I'm so glad I don't live in Ohio...

It's not clear how predictive this is, but at the Athens Area Invitational (in PA, but open to teams from any state- it's mostly NY and PA teams, though) this weekend, the top four teams- all previous national teams- were:
1. F-M
2. Ward Melville
3. Harriton
4. Columbia

I guess their underclassmen are getting weaker?

Penncrest does not use only underclassmen. Penncrest sends two teams, though their team only has about 20 people, so both teams are of about 10. They are somewhat mixed, though one team had most of the seniors. The team with most the seniors got 7th, the other team got 17th. This really isn't THAT different from their past results there.

They split up the teams, and one of the teams didn't have anyone doing Mission. One of their underclassmen won Remote, alone, on the 96 question test.

That was their "A" team though, with most of their upperclassmen. Also, to the best of my knowledge, the 7th place team did run a mission machine. They even got beaten by LM, which wasn't running two of their devices.
