Unless you're not joking, 1) no paddles are used in PPP and 2) there's no way someone's telling you that.MitchinhoGray wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 6:45 am Are we expected to bring our own paddles for Ping Pong? Also, for Cell Bio, will the test be mainly open ended or multiple choice.

ping pong doesn't require paddles, and cell bio isnt even an event this yearMitchinhoGray wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 6:45 am Are we expected to bring our own paddles for Ping Pong? Also, for Cell Bio, will the test be mainly open ended or multiple choice.

Re: 2020 Princeton Invitational
?? What happened to cell bio? Why isn't Princeton running it?
Also, am I missing something with Ping Pong? we've been working since september on a robot to win us every match. Is that not allowed?
Please let me know asap if I'm missing something.

Re: 2020 Princeton Invitational
Cell Biology is not an event this year, but I believe it is expected to return next year.MitchinhoGray wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 6:54 am ?? What happened to cell bio? Why isn't Princeton running it?

Also, the event for this year is Ping Pong Parachute– teams build a rocket that deploys a parachute in order to have a ping pong ball float down in the longest time possible. You can check the official website (soinc.org) for more information on the event.
Hope this helps clear up your confusion.

Re: 2020 Princeton Invitational
You're missing the table portion of the event. Ping Pong tables unfortunately aren't provided at Princeton's invite this year, so you'll need to bring your own from home. The robot should be okay, as long as you don't use Python to code it. Good luck this weekend!!MitchinhoGray wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 6:54 am ?? What happened to cell bio? Re: 2020 Princeton Invitational
We just got hit with a really bad storm, so it looks like FM won't be able to come due to weather!
We had such a great experience last year and were really looking forward to coming again. Best of luck to all the teams competing.
