Once in pentathlon we had to dress up like greek gods and carry a golf ball with a spoon in your mouth while having to hop a bouncy ball between you legs.

Sometimes we don't like it just because it makes us look ridiculous.

Yeah, about that...at States, the Pentathlon people had to wear a duck hat while they were competing as a relay-race-baton-type thing. We laughed at them.

I don't mind pentathlon...seeing as we got 4th at nationals.
However, I totally understand (and mostly agree with) the sentiments that pentathlon is based too much in luck to be a good event. I think they're getting rid of it next year though!

I join the SFTDOP. Penathlon is far too based on luck to count toward a team score. If they want a general science event fine, but this is a stupid one.

Well I'm not complaining. Our best event at nationals was pentathlon!!! Yeah BC!!

That was disgusting. They used that hat for EVERYONE. We could have all gotten lice.

Well, Pentathlon isn't supposed to be an event next year! Let's hope it stays that way. :3
