Basically, the "change poster" field lists all people that have posted from that IP address. You can choose from those for a quick selection, or enter in a username manually.
No, Jim is not the culprit. In this case, one would believe that a topic started by the person in question had the poster changed to Jim. That may or may not help you.
Interestingly enough, there was more than one other poster listed on that list as well.
