I keep mine in two small boxes, each containing a year's worth of medals. I don't bother labeling them or anything, the individual placements don't matter all that much and I know which box is which from looking at the States medals. I wonder if I should bring one or two of the ones most important to me to college with me. I considered it once and thought that would be vain, but I'm not sure anymore as the medals do hold sentimental value.

I have this large flower vase I've wrapped my medals around. It looks pretty ridiculous :)

I hang 1-3 medals on a lamp. The lamp has 3 lights all on different levels. 1st/state on top, 2nd in the middle, 3rd on bottom.

Good Idea. I also borrow my mothers clothes hanger.

My only ones are hidden behind my copy of Atlas Shrugged and The Iliad. I'd feel like too much of a showoff if I displayed them for everyone to see all the time, and they probably wouldn't be as special to me as they are if I saw them all the time. I don't want them to become decoration; I want them to stay as a reminder of better days.

Glad this topic got bumped, because there have been some new developments in how I'm (planning on) keeping my medals. I basically just plan on getting a shelf and putting a curtain rod below it that I can hang medals/ribbons on, sort of like this. The shelf is going to hold trophies or certificates from other competitions, probably. Haven't made any progress yet because of life, but I'm excited.

I only have a single hook to keep my medals, so I have my state medals as well as some regional medals on there, and the rest are gosh knows where.

I've kept all my medals! I have almost all of my medals from my first four years (6th to 9th grade) hanging in chronological order on a medal rack that I got to hold track medals back in like elementary school lol. I keep the rest on top of a shelf directly under the rack, sorted into three piles of roughly 20 each. The order of the piles is kind of chronological, but I also slightly modified it to put my favorite medals on top. Also, for the competitions which give ribbons instead of medals, they're in a pile on the shelf separate from the actual medals. They're all special to me and I really love being able to pick up any given medal and remember the story behind it! Such sentimentality haha
