Science Olympiad is better than any other extracurricular or competitive team.
I mean, I partially agree with this, but I kinda like choir more because I know that It's going to involve singing but with SO, I don't know if there are going to be events I like until they are announced (reeeeeeeaaalllllyyyy wish R+M was back this year...)

Well, quizbowl is still academic. I'm curious to see if anyone enjoys a sport more. I find it hard to imagine the scioly kids (on my team, at least) playing a sport.

Lol plenty of people who do SciOly like to play sports. CPScienceDude plays on his high school soccer team, I play badminton, I have a friend who medalled at nats and loves to play soccer, there's a lot of people who love SciOly and sports. Just because people have a passion for science doesn't mean they can't have a passion for athletics.

I didn't mean to offend anyone. I play badminton too ;/
That's why I specified the kids on my team, I wasn't generalizing all SO kids.

Tennis tho. That’s the sport to play if you do scioly. Low effort for maximum reward

Tennis isn't low effort at all. The sport that's the least effort is golf.

I agree. I know a lot of people who play tennis, two of which are in scioly. They have practice multiple times a week and it is just as prominent in their life as scioly. I don't think any sport you are playing is going to be low effort ;/
