Re: New York 2010
We have our first meeting tomorrow. Should be interesting--I'm curious to see what 9th graders on Eagle Hill's team keep doing it. Not to mention I don't have our coach as a teacher like almost everyone else so she won't know me (I'm worried thats going to be a disadvantage)

Re: New York 2010
As cryjea said first offical team meeting is tommorow now that the tryouts are done. We are making a lot of team improvments this year and we are shooting for first at the regionals and states. Personaly I think we can do it if we work hard enough.cryjea wrote:we haven't. in fact we just finished getting the people on the team. so now we have the fifteen members. tomorrow's the meeting!

Re: New York 2010
So technically I'm not in New York anymore but the NY thread is way cooler than all the others so I'm going to post here anyway.
I think Eagle Hill will do well and so will Gelinas. :]
I guess only time will tell but New York is getting more and more competitive so who knows.

Re: New York 2010
Do you guys try out for specific events, or is there one general tryout for the team as a whole?cooltiger wrote:As cryjea said first offical team meeting is tommorow now that the tryouts are done. I don't think it really is, she's not the type of person to play favorites I think, she's really nice after all.fmtiger124 wrote:We have our first meeting tomorrow. Re: New York 2010
First, we have whole team tryouts, then on the first few meetings we work on choosing events. This is basicly done to promote that we are a team and not indivdual partners on diffrent events.Flavorflav wrote:Do you guys try out for specific events, or is there one general tryout for the team as a whole?cooltiger wrote:As cryjea said first offical team meeting is tommorow now that the tryouts are done.
