Ugh. I hate Furbies!!!
Science Olympiad is a tribute to Murphey's Law. This has been proven experimentally.
And no, I'm not a guy...even though my sig says will robsinson. It's a reference to Lost in Space, an ancient sci fi TV show. And the robot is the character who always says the line.

I remember when I was in elementary school (I think around 1997 was 5th grade, god I'm old), it was super cool to only use one strap on your backpacks. Then when I went to middle school, I thought I was so cool carrying it on one shoulder until a 7th or 8th grader grabbed my dangling strap and yanked it onto my shoulder. They informed me rudely that I was no longer in elementary school and that stuff wasn't cool. Needless to say I was mortified.

Oh yeah, I remember when it was 'cool' to be preppy and all the 'weirdos' were punk/emo/goth/etc. (not synonyms, just generally grouping). Clearly I was born during the wrong time. XD;

Haha, everyone wears UGGS now, and I'm a (super)senior in college. Pants (generally skinny or straight legged, though sweatpants are frequent too) are tucked into the boots (not the lace ups). You can't escape them.

Sorry for the consecutive posts.

they are basically furry boots. I know my sister has some, and almost every girl at my school has them.
