My first thought was Harry Potter. The African forest can represent the Forbidden Forest. Chicken---> rooster?---> Chamber of secrets?? No Egg--->Fawkes (the phoenix) Fire---> the fire Crabbe created at the end of the 7th book during the Battle of Hogwarts. Dirty water---> the "potion" Dumbledore drank in the Half-Bood Prince. Swim for your lives---> Ron saving Harry when he jumped into the lake to retrieve the Sword of Gryffindor. Everyone will be dead and buried---> people who died throughout the series, especially during the a battle of Hogwarts.
I have no idea what that leads to though...
