1. Class Echinoidea 2. The chewing apparatus, Aristotle's lantern. 3. Middle Ordovician?? 4. One's habitat is below the sediment surface (sand dollars) and the other lived above it (sea urchins).
Yep, your turn, although I would elaborate more on the difference between regular and irregular echinoids.kate! wrote:UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F wrote:1) Identify the class.

Great answers, your turn.hippo9 wrote:Hmmmm sounds familiar again...kate! wrote:(The order is in the URL, so you can check your answer if you quote this.)

Yikes, sorry. I didn't realize there were questions on those before (and I honestly only chose the order because of E. remipes and New York.) I'll make a question about something more obscure next time.UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F wrote:I'd just like to take a moment to appreciate that we've had three questions on eurypterids already this year. Nah, it's fine. It was just a joke. You don't have to choose obscure stuff though—it's kind of nice to start off the season with some common questions so that newcomers can get a feel for the event.kate! wrote:Yikes, sorry. I guess you're right, but having so many questions about one order is a little excessive.UTF-8 U+6211 U+662F wrote:Nah, it's fine. It was just a joke.
