"Hey Nick!" makes me think of nicholasmaurer, and as a result ScottMaurer19 as well...

Not sure if this means anything, but...
After a quick google (well actually, Bing) search, I came across this link, https://goldenskate.com/2017/11/2017-nhk-trophy-men/, about the 2017 NHK Trophy (a figure skating competition). So apparently last year, the 3rd place finisher (Alexei Bychenko) got a score 166.55. More interestingly, the article was written by Scott Mammoser, again making me think ScottMaurer19 again. :?:

I'd say ScottMaurer19 would probably be a good protect, I too thought of nicholasmaurer when I read "Hey Nick, what's the score?" Nicholasmaurer was also the one to keep everyone up to date on the Solon Invitational.

More on Alexei Bychenko: (I read this in the newspaper today) He's originally from the Ukraine, but he didn't want to compete for them at the Olympics this year. Instead, he decided to compete for Israel and placed 11th in the Men's Single Skating Free Skating event.

This seems to make sense to me (i don't know how the Ukraine thing applies though... I also know he trains in NJ). I protect ScottMaurer19 based on the reasoning above.
EDIT: Should we protect nicholasmaurer as well?

Alexei Bychenko was originally from Hackensack, NJ, so maybe protect someone from NJ as well?

I protect whythelongface due to the reasoning above. (Just to be safe)

That would probably be wise. I say the other three protects go to nicholasmaurer, knottingpurple, and possibly WhatScience?.

EDIT: 166.55 is also the personal best total score for Jonathan Hess of Germany. I don't know if this means anything, though.

Shouldn't someone maybe protect pb because he or she is also from New Jersey and he or she is an officer (and I think sassies like targeting officers based on previous games)

Sure.
I protect myself based on the reasoning above.
