And you’re welcome, not that I did much. To everyone else, I had some ... the pics range from EP26237 to EP26245. That’s nine pictures that should be there, but there are only eight. EP26244 is missing. From here, the easiest thing ...

So there are 8 pictures, not nine, hence fitting the original clue
Ahm.
I protect Skink based on the reasoning above.

In all the people in the world, you thought EastStroudsburg13 would be either one of us? WhatScience? Is officially out of accusations. Whomever can solve the next clue and PM us the answer may take his place, including himself.

Ten little Soldier Boys went out to dine; One choked his little self and then there were nine.
Mr. Owen wrote:Soon, we will take our first victim, not that they are as faultless as they might seem. It's dinnertime. Time to make our move.

Feeling content, I hold back a chuckle as I listen through the walls. Our phonograph record has just gone off, no doubt started by my Mrs. Owen. I can imagine the pale faces of our most esteemed guests as their secret crimes are thrown into daylight for all to hear.

I shake my head: even now, they try to talk their way through their past. They have no idea what awaits them. Specifically, birdylayaduck08 has no clue that of all the little after-dinner treats that was left for them, her candy contained potassium cyanide.

But alas, dinner is over, and so is her life. As the confused guests move her body, I sneak out and take the first medal off the wall.
Mrs. Owen wrote:Later in the night, I pace around the room feverishly, craving and fantasizing of my next victim.

Overcome with the thirst to reach another, all that stands between me is a decision. Who shall it be?

Lastly, it hits me. Looking down from the clock, I realize that the decision has already been made.

Okay now I'm confused. First of all, who died?

Hey uh just a heads up Sassy's signature is now 9 medals on the wall. Probably because of the now dead birdylayaduck08.

The death was probably Birdy. I'm guessing the clue about the clock maybe refers to "It's About Time" and somebody who has done that event?

Interesting. I’ve never actually done IAT, but the quote from my sig is pretty similar.

On an unrelated note, “looking down from the clock” sounds like the number 6 to me, because 6 is at the bottom of analog clocks.
