The MO state tournament was cancelled because of inclement weather. Stay tuned for the rescheduling!

I thought that the weather was supposed to be really nice, but apparently it's going to be rough.

Does anyone know why in division B, a max of 5 9th graders is allowed on the team? I see this as an unfair advantage to teams that are trying to give there 8th graders time on the team.

Some division B schools goes up to 9th grade, and it would be unfair to let them compete and not other 9th graders and it would also be unfair to not let them compete, as they are still from the school.

Also since freshman tend to not have as high of a chance of making their high school's team, allowing 5 9th grader's in Div B lets them still compete.

I doubt that plays a big part. It's significantly easier for a freshman to be as good as someone a few years older than for a 6th grader.
