No, the motor is connected to the front axle, independent of the encoder.

What do you guys think a score good enough for a medal would be at an invite? (It's tomorrow  ) and mine's not doing too great right now...

How many places are medaled (1-6?, 1-3?) and how competitive is the invite? Id say at a competitive invite, any negative score will medal. At a less competitive invite, maybe anything below 30. Really hard to say this early in the year

Top 6 scores from Westlake Invitational:

1. -3.94
2. 0.96
3. 11.19
4. 12.75
5. 16.18
6. 18.52

I ruined my wheel alignment by crashing it into my couch while testing the night before so my vehicle was curving every day of and did really bad. Currently rebuilding.

I'm thinking any score below 10 is going to be pretty competitive this year, at least in Ohio. Negative is probably top 3 depending on how good other teams besides mentor get.

Alright, so the invitational was almost snowed out and only half the teams showed up. We ended up winning with a score about 28, I believe. We were one of two to successfully attempt the bonus cans... I'm pretty proud of it, because its first test was the night before :P

I'm pretty sure that at least the top two scores at the Northridge invitational were negative. I don't know much more.

This was a week or so ago, but top 5 scores at Kenston Invitational in Ohio were negative, with the lowest being -7.5 or something around that.
