Yeah, but I used wool string and wrapped it around popsicle sticks to make a cup thing. It took a while, but it worked pretty well. Make sure the string is 100% though!

Do we need to do 1 plot with 4 lines? Because At an invitationals, when we turned in our plot, they gave us 2 points, when we had most of the rules and a plot with 4 lines

How much time do we get to figure out our prediction temperature or will we write it down onto our test? Because during invitational, they asked us what the prediction was when they were putting the hot water with beaker in.

For the plots, we turned in four, each with four lines on them and we received full credit. So I guess turn in four pages of graphs?
And they gave us about five minutes, while they were filling up everyone's beakers wiith hot water, to predict our final temp. It probably varies depending on your supervisors though.

Could anyone help me understand what this part means: "the volume of water to be used (100 to 200mL, in 25mL increments at Regional competitions, 10mL at State competitions, 1mL at the National competition..."
I just don't understand the part about increments...

What that quote from the rules was saying is that the amount water that is going to be placed in the beaker is between 100 and 200 milliliters inclusive, and that at Regionals the amount of water must be a multiple of 25 over 100 (100, 125, 150, 175, or 200 (increasing at 25ml increments)). In addition, the logic is the same for States and Nats, except using 10ml and 1ml increments respectively. In other words, at State, they can use 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, or 200 milliliters of water, and at Nats, they can use 100, 101, 102, ..., 198, 199, or 200 milliliters of water.

How do you know if they give you full credit?
We also turned in four separate plots.

My partner talked to the supervisors afterwards and she wanted to know how far away our prediction was, and if the graphs were okay because we had the same question as awesome90220. They said they were good, so I'm assuming we got full credit because I put everything else we needed on there (eg: school name, member names, etc.)
