What times do you predict will medal (top 6) at MI states this Saturday?

I don't know if VA is more/less competitive than Michigan, but I'd assume around 18 seconds.

I think the VA team won with ~14 seconds, IDK.

And speaking of times, what are you all getting for your times? While testing today we got ~17 seconds consistently

What material are you all using for your nosecone?

Long PVC tube with styrofoam ball on the end.

MI is one of the most competitive states.

We are at 20 secs + or - a few.

Dibrockets, what did the 30 second rocket look like?

At NY I saw a few rockets that made it to about 20. However, I only watched a small portion of the event. The rocket that backslided for around 21 seconds had a long, thin and light nose cone made out of some sort of plastic. I can't remember exactly how it looked but the nose cone I think was about 4-5 feet in length. It was really light because a lot of the other teams with long nose cones had rockets that nose dived into the ground.
