Reasons why HI should get the bid:
1) we have like 8 islands man we should get 1 bid per island. rhode island is just 1 island but they have 1 bid just like us
2) we're the 50th state. delaware was the 1st and has the same amount of bids as us. using the format the delaware has established, (state number = bids), hawaii should get 50 bids. so this is LONG overdue
3) we have to like, fly over an entire ocean just to get to nats. need i say more?

Four more reasons:
1) We were like illegally overthrown by white bois and we still haven't gotten substantial compensation (whatever we have gotten went to our local rail project rip). Debt is inherited.
2) We don't experience the cold at, like, ALL. Our weather drops below 50 and everyone starts acting like a North Korea missile is approaching. We need exposure to the cold.
3) We have swap meet merch that's pretty spicy, so more bids = more coconuts
4) Buttload of hotel/comp shenanigans. Synergy: if two Hawaii bois go, the memes exponentially increase.

1) Rhode Island is not an island. However, it does contain more than 30 islands in the bay. By your logic, we should get more than 30 bids lo.

That would be one ocean lol . However, they'll need to spend more 16 hours on a DIRECT flight to Cornell. Chances are, they will have to transfer in order to save money. This will amount to over a day of travel.
