Referring to the "forgot to tie my shoe" part of the clue, I found this:

How do I tie my shoe?

Obviously, this user isn't active anymore, and neither is the user who responded, but the post above this was made by Skink, a fairly active user currently.
Any thoughts?

Protect knottingpurple. The "forgot to tie my shoe" refers to knotting, and it's IvanGe and venules having the conversation, who stand for Indigo and Violet in this clue, both shades of purple.

Sorry about this horrible clue (the one for the next 48 hours. This was made in a rush and it might be extremely easy, or difficult! knottingpurple, was correctly protected, but allopathie was not.

You get two tries per clue, but I will not tell you if they are correct/incorrect until the next clue comes out. Osprey, parrots, and owls are all birds... maybe ID clues? A school district with those birds as mascots? Ospreys and parrots can both be found near the sea- kinda...
